With a central core of natural coconut coir, which is springy and supportive thanks to the natural latex binding, your baby's weight is evenly supported across the sleeping suface while remaining breathable.  This core is covered in three thick layers of welsh wool, which adds even more support and is naturally anti dust-mite and anti-bacterial.  The unique blend of wool and cotton means that this mattress passes UK fireproofing regulations (BS 7177) without the use of nasty chemicals.  Lastly, the mattress is covered in an organic cotton cover, adding to breathability and helping control your baby's body temperature.

All deliveries on mattresses are made directly by the manufacturer.  We will let you know when your mattress is on the way, usually within a few days of your order being placed.

Mattress Care:

• Mattresses should be turned every 3 months
• Use a waterproof mattress protector to keep your mattress clean and limit dust mites
• Cotton cover (non-removable) can be sponge-cleaned, and the mattress used once the cover is completely dry

How are the mattresses made?

1. The springy core of coconut coir, bound together with natural latex (sap from the Hevea tree), is first measured and cut to size  This coconut fibre centre acts like thousands of tiny springs, helping to better distribute your baby’s weight across the entire cot mattress and reduce the risk of sagging.

2. Three thick layers of organic welsh wool is then wrapped around each side of the core of coconut coir. Each layer of organic wool creates the perfect support for your baby, absorbing moisture and preventing the growth of any harmful bacteria. As a natural fire retardant, the organic wool also helps in making the cot mattresses fireproof, naturally.

3. Finally, the cot mattress is finished with a 100% organic cotton cover, enabling the cot mattress to breathe more easily and reduce the risk of over-heating.

Returns

We want you to enjoy each shopping experience with us but we know occasionally you may want to return items you’ve bought or had given to you as a gift.  And because we know you’ve probably more important things to think about we’ll do whatever we can to make sure you’re happy with the way we handle your situation.

If you decide an item isn’t right for you, then in most situations you’re free to exchange the item within 30 days for something you do want, ask for a credit note to spend later or ask for a refund.
