Why people bought this product

“I love the giraffe print its so unusual and my friend has a littlelife bag that she uses for her toddler and its a brilliant product, plus they get to carry their own juice - very practical.”

“my youngest is just walking and it helps keep her stable”

“I need to be able to keep my toddler close whilst having a new baby!”   more

“my sons loves dinosaurs”

“Think it's time our 14 month old daughter has her very own bag to go to the childminders with.”

“I think my 18 month old daughter will like this for a long time. She'll think it is very grown up. The reins are the big thing for me as we live on a busy road and my little one loves to walk, plus I'm 8 months pregnant so they will reduce the bending down. There is the added bonus of being able to put her snacks in the bag.”

“I have a very active little boy (nearly two) who has long decided that the pram is not for him. He likes to help 'carry' his things, but isn't always reliable in shops/carparks etc. I like that this one doesn't look too babyish, with the added protection of a parent handle/rein if needed for safety. Love BORN's service etc. That's why I bought it from you, not from Mothercare etc”

“my little girl is becoming very very independent and having her own bag will make her feel all grown up and I'll have the bonus of the reins!”

“I've seen a few children with them around and about Bristol. My son has a tendency to run off when I let him out of his pram so I thought this would be fab and fun for him when we go shopping or to the airport. I'm also expecting my 2nd child and can't afford to have Jacob darting off everywhere whilst I am pushing Baby number 2 in the pram. He will think it is cool and I can have peace of mind when out and about with him. Much better than just simple reins.”

Toddler daysack
This bag is super-cute and my little one is just starting to love wearing it around (although she's a little small still so if it's too heavy, she falls backwards!). The one thing I would complain about is its size.  more When I ordered it, I thought I would be able to fit much more in there such as a reusable nappy and wetwipes. So, we use it for a sippee cup, little tub of snacks, small pack of handwipes, a bib and a couple small toys and/or books which is great.

Little life day sack
I've been using this with my 19 month old for a month.  I got it because I thought she would tolerate a bag for longer than just reins.  So far she loves it and loves putting it on.  She thinks the dinosaur tail is  more hilarious.  I put her little snacks in it and she does enjoy going to the shops and carrying home the biscuits.  I live near a lot of busy roads and has been invaluable for short walks, especially as I am 9 months pregnant and therefore not great at bending over to hold her hood or hand.  It has potential to be popular for a long time with my daughter and I would recommend it.

A hit with my toddler!
We bought our toddler this rucsac (the bee style) when he started walking mainly for its built-in reins function when out in crowds- as a bonus it looks great and he wouldn't leave the house without it at one point!  more His granny tried him with normal reins once when looking after him and he went into meltdown, but he didn't mind wearing them at all when wearing this rucsac as he loved it so much. Plenty of room inside for some snacks and toy cars.

Good product, but it doesn't guarantee safety
I bought the bumble bee daysack with rein for my 2 year old son as he had a tendency to run off when out for a walk.  We were not worried about him running into the road so much as he knew not to do that, but we needed  more him to learn to stay close to us.  We used the daysack as a transition tool to first get him used to walking next to us and then gradually work towards getting him to hold our hand when walking alongside roads.  We used the daysack for about three or four months before we could be confident that he would hold our hands.
The quality of the daysack is good.  It is durable and well padded.  My son loved to wear it and take his little toys with him on outings.  It was a great incentive for him to get his coat and shoes on to get ready to go out.  Without the buble bee I'm sure it would have taken a lot longer!
The main (and quite big) problem that I had with this product is that on several occassions the clip on the rein came off as we were walking, which obviously defeated the purpose of having a rein.  Fortunately it was quick and easy enough to clip it back on again, but I don't think parents can assume their children are safe because they have the reins on.
This product suited our needs and it really helped us attain better walking habits with our son.
